The North London School of English is located in the best connected part of London. Underground (Bakerloo, Metropolitan and Northern Line), Overground, National Rail and a number of buses are all easily accessible.

Finding us is easy. Our school is located at 2A Lithos Road, London Nw3 6EF. Look for the big sign outside that says “North London School of English”.

Hampstead Heath, one of the most beautiful and famous parks in the world, is a short walk away from NLS English. Here you can find thousands of trees, birds and other natural wonders. In the summer time, it is the perfect place for picnics, sunbathing and outdoor swimming in the ponds. When the weather gets colder, you can watch the fireworks all over London on Bonfire Night and New Years Eve.
Hampstead Heath is not the only piece of nature nearby. The famous Regents Park is a short train ride away, conveniently located in the heart of London’s West End. Richmond Park and Kew Gardens are also easily accessible by the London Overground.

Eating and drinking

London is the best city in the world for eating out, and our area is no exception. A short walk from NLS English you can find of food options for all appetites and price ranges, from traditional English food like fish and chips, pub food and full English breakfast cafes to modern Pan-Asian dining and haute cuisine.

The North London School of English is located in Hampstead, one of the most famous and beautiful areas of London. For hundreds of years, Hampstead has been the home of artists, poets, intellectuals and celebrities from across Europe. Our area is rich with old buildings, museums and history. The Sigmund Freud Museum is a five minute walk from NLS; in Hampstead Village, you can find the beautiful aristocratic manor Fenton House and the Keats museum, home of the poet John Keats.

Our part of London is still vibrant with contemporary culture. The Camden Arts Centre, one of the best art spaces in London, is across the road from NLS English, and the VUE Cinema is a short walk away.
